Treating Children

We believe that good habits start young

Bringing your children to St Margarets Dental for regular check-ups from an early age is a way to ensure they develop a life-long positive relationship with the dentist.

We believe that younger patients will benefit from being taught the correct way to brush as early as possible, and adopting good dietary habits from the start will prevent tooth decay through life.

As mothers, we have first hand experience of the challenges of instilling these habits in our children.

As children grow, and they develop their adult dentition, regular check ups allow us to monitor if they require orthodontic treatment, and advise accordingly.

As they progress and participate in contact sports, we can also make custom made sports guards in a variety of colours and designs, to best protect their developing teeth. These are proven to be more effective than off-the-shelf mouldable guards.

We are delighted to provide FREE dental care for all children of registered adults*. Refer to our dental fees page for more details.
